The following Terms and Conditions represent the agreement between you and Acton Minicab. By booking a taxi and utilizing our services, you unequivocally accept these Terms and Conditions as stated in this agreement.

1. Definitions

In this agreement, "Acton Minicab," "we," or "us" denotes the service provider. The terms "you" and "your" apply to any individual, business, or company making a booking with us.

2. Booking

2.1 It is your responsibility to allocate sufficient time for your journey to ensure punctual arrival, especially in the case of airport transfers where adherence to flight check-in times is crucial. We cannot be held responsible for delays arising from your failure to allocate adequate travel time or unavailability at the designated pickup time.

2.2 You are accountable for selecting a vehicle that accommodates all passengers and luggage appropriately. We do not guarantee the carriage of an excessive amount of luggage. Please be aware that irrespective of age, a child is considered a single passenger.

2.3 Passengers requiring wheelchair access should request this service at the time of booking.

3. Prices & Payment

3.1 Our quotations are based on information provided by you. Unless otherwise specified, all prices are exclusive of VAT, and any applicable VAT will be added. In cases of significant itinerary changes, we reserve the right to adjust the provided quote.

3.2 Our quote includes a 45-minute waiting period after the scheduled landing time and the cost of airport parking. Additional waiting time will incur charges at the standard Acton Minicab waiting rate. We make efforts to monitor flight details and adjust our service for delays but are not obligated to do so.

3.3 Upon accepting our quote, you will receive a booking confirmation. It is your responsibility to review this confirmation for accuracy. Failure to notify Acton Minicab of any discrepancies may result in delays or additional costs.

3.4 Payments for our services can be made in cash, credit card, or debit card.

4. Service Etiquette

4.1 You are responsible for the conduct of all passengers during the journey. A cleaning charge may be applied for any soiling, damage, or negative impact on the vehicle caused by passengers.

4.2 Eating, drinking, and smoking are not allowed in the vehicle. All children must be properly restrained according to their height, weight, and age.

4.3 We are not authorized to carry more passengers than permitted by licensing or insurance regulations.

5. Cancellations

5.1 If you need to cancel a booking with Acton Minicab, please do so promptly. Cancellation after dispatch may result in charges based on the distance and time covered by the driver.

5.2 For online bookings, cancellations made before dispatch may incur charges on the original payment.

6. Liability

6.1 While we strive to ensure timely arrivals, we are not liable for losses due to delays beyond our control. In no circumstances will Acton Minicab be held responsible for losses incurred by you or your business.

6.2 Your luggage is transported at your own risk.

6.3 In the event of a vehicle breakdown during your journey with Acton Minicab, we will make every effort to provide an alternative vehicle to complete your journey promptly.

6.4 You shall not hold Acton Minicab liable for expenses, damages, costs, or losses resulting from any omission or act by any member of your party.

6.5 No party involved can exclude or limit their liability for personal injury or death resulting from negligence, fraudulent misrepresentation, willful default, or any matter declared unenforceable by applicable laws.

7. Termination

7.1 We reserve the right to terminate or refuse a booking immediately if a vehicle or driver is placed at risk due to abuse, violence, or damage by you or any other passenger. No refunds will be issued for terminated journeys.

8. Miscellaneous

8.1 Acton Minicab may subcontract its obligations as stated in this agreement. You may not assign, delegate, or transfer your rights or obligations under this agreement.

8.2 Acton Minicab may alter the terms and conditions at any time by updating this page. Please review these terms and conditions regularly to stay informed of any changes. Existing bookings will be honored at the rates in effect at the time of booking.

8.3 We handle information in accordance with the Data Protection Act of 1988.

8.4 This agreement represents the full agreement between Acton Minicab and yourself.

8.5 These terms and conditions do not confer any benefits or advantages to a third party. Third parties may not enforce rights under this agreement unless a written agreement has been established.

9. Dispute Resolution

Any dispute or claim must be submitted within 30 days from the booking pickup date. Acton Minicab is not obligated to consider claims or disputes submitted after this timeframe.
